Bees are an important part of our ecosystem because plants require their help to grow.
We value the benefits honey bees provide to our crops and flowers, especially the fruit at Shaw Orchards. That’s why we relocate them to a safe area, away from people at risk from their stings. Paper wasps, on the other hand, are a threat that must be removed. Paper wasps chew plant stems and wood, mix it with saliva, and build their nests. Regardless of whether you’re allergic, the sting is quite painful. If you disturb them, you may find a swarm after you, each one with the ability to sting multiple times. Our technicians are specialists at stinging insect removal. We’ll even remove unoccupied paper wasp nests, so that new ones aren’t built over old ones.
