If you’ve noticed holes or mounds in your lawn or garden, you may have a gopher or vole infestation.

If you’ve noticed gopher mounds on your property that are random, it’s probably a female in search of food.  If the gopher mounds are in a straight line, it’s probably a male searching for a female.  One gopher can build a tunnel at a rate of 1 foot per 3 minutes.  That’s 150 feet of tunnel per day. It would be great if North Payette Irrigation could train them to dig their sprinkler lines.

Voles can easily be confused with a mouse. However, voles don’t go indoors.  They leave holes in the ground where they shelter, which are around 1 to 2 inches in diameter.  Voles typically don’t leave a mound like a gopher. They also destroy gardens, lawns and ornamentals.

Gopher Control Payette

While gophers may not seem like much of a problem, they can quickly cause extensive damage to your home or property. At Get Lost Pest Control, we eliminate and prevent gophers using a pressurized exhaust rodent control (PERC) system. This provides you with a safe, yet potent, elimination method compared to any other gopher control Payette treatments.

Using an internal combustion engine, we pump a lethal concentration of carbon monoxide into a tunnel system to safely eliminate any unwanted rodents. With this process, there are no explosions that would disturb horses or other livestock.

Voles are small, nocturnal rodents that leave holes and track-like lines in the grass. At Get Lost Pest Control, we use two different bait options to eliminate the voles while they are active at night.
