Important Considerations:

  • Although American Cockroaches generally live outside, they can gain access to your home through plumbing or trees or shrubs alongside your house’s exterior walls.
  • The average adult female will produce 150 offspring during her lifetime.
  • American Cockroaches are scavengers and will eat anything they can including paper, hair, boots, book bindings, peanuts, fish, bread, fruit, dead insects, and clothing.

 

Where to Find Them on Your Property?

American cockroaches live outside in areas such as hollow trees, wood piles, and mulch. If they do happen to wander inside, they choose places such as attics, under roof shingles, water pipes, sinks, toilets, or bathtubs to make their home.
