Where to Find Them on Your Property?

Adults live in soil, nests or burrows of animals, lawns and decaying wood. Larvae are found in vegetation such as grass, brush or blackberries. When attacking humans, they are commonly found in armpits, ankles or on the waist. About 3-6 hours after infestation, the host usually begins to feel itchy and may last for up to 2 weeks.
