Important Considerations:

  • They are usually considered nuisance pests, but have been known to cause bronchial asthma in some cases
  • These flies are weak fliers and are mostly seen crawling on surfaces.
  • They are often seen hovering around drain openings.

 

Where to Find Them on Your Property?

True to their name, these flies are mostly found in or around pipes, however, they can breed in other moist areas such as under potted plants, clogged roof gutters, septic tanks, etc.
