Region: Found throughout the United States
Important Considerations:
- They can invade structures by the thousands in the spring and fall
- Clover mites can leave red colored stain when crushed. This can become problematic on walls, furniture, carpets or curtains
- They eat plants and are particularly found on clovers, hence the name Clover Mite
Where to Find Them on Your Property?
Can be found in shrubs, flowers, grass or other plants. When invading structures, they enter using cracks around windows and doors.
