Important Considerations:

  • Their name comes from the fact that they infest elm trees.
  • They are mostly nuisance pests as they enter structures in the fall.
  • The fecal matter from these beetles can spot the finishes on cars.
  • When crushed, they will leave stains.

Where to Find Them on Your Property?

Elm Leaf Beetles enter structures to overwinter. They can be found in wall voids, under siding, inside attics, behind curtains, inside books and any other protected area.
