- Pillbugs mostly eat decaying plant material.
- They can feed on and cause damage to young plants occasionally.
- They are the only crustacean to adapt to living completely on land.
Where to Find Them on Your Property?
Pillbugs must have a food source and moisture to survive. Because of this, they rarely survive inside for more than a few days. So, seeing them inside usually means there is a large infestation outside. If they do find their way inside, it is usually through doorways. Outside, they can be found underneath rocks, stumps or decaying debris.
